We are moving forward with exciting new stores and restaurants!
The old Burlington Town Center Mall, located at CityPlace Burlington, is now closed. In 2017 the existing downtown retail facility was partially demolished to prepare for construction of the first two phases of the new CityPlace Burlington development. As a result our tenants have moved to other locations. We look forward to welcoming them back to join our new residents and businesses at CityPlace Burlington upon its completion in 2025.
CityPlace Burlington is conceptualized and designed to be a mixed-use facility. With up to 426 new homes, street level retail, service businesses, restaurants and cafés, this new development is planned as a place where people can truly live, work and play. Located in the heart of downtown, with more green areas, public spaces and newly reconnected streets, this city center will be the socially-responsible and environmentally-friendly replacement for an aging, obsolete interior mall, fundamentally transforming the property into a vibrant, connected hub of activity intended to revitalize our downtown core.
Residents and their families, visitors, business owners, workers and tourists will enjoy new stores, restaurants and cafés, ample parking, improved traffic flow and multiple sustainable transportation choices. Imagine walking out of your new apartment or condominium into this exciting new urban environment, surrounded by all of Downtown’s art, culture and entertainment, with the Church Street Marketplace and the Burlington Waterfront just minutes from your door!
