A mixture of characters, all interested in helping make CityPlace Burlington a booming success. We are Vermonters and Burlingtonians who originated from Canada, Jamaica, Philadelphia, and New York City. We work in security, housekeeping, marketing, design, construction management, financial and legal areas which are all necessary in order to make CityPlace Burlington a success.
Many of us have young children, so we are excited about having a pre-school at CPB. Others have children who are a little older for a primary care facility. A grocery store at CityPlace Burlington is exciting news for all. The notion of living, working and shopping all in one location – one place – is exciting to all of our Devonwood people and we hope you are excited as well. Our thoughts parallel your thoughts. So here is what some of our people have to say about this transformative project.
My job at this point is to execute the project and insure that all the benefits heretofore spoken about, jobs, economic vitality, new streets, new services, new homes and a ‘green’ project materialize. I wake up every day and think only about how to make this project better.
Don Sinex – Managing Partner, Devonwood Investors
I have worked at CityPlace Burlington for almost four years now, from the very start as the lead design architect and recently for Devonwood to assist with the development. I truly believe this project will improve the lives of all Burlingtonians.
William Fellows – Devonwood Investors
The CityPlace Burlington project will make our city a better place to live, work, shop, learn, eat and play. I am proud to play a part in this transformative project.
Nick Principe – Devonwood Investors
I have seen this project as a positive from the minute I heard about it. As I continue to grow with the company and be a part of the project I get more and more excited about the endless opportunities and advantages. I hope you will be too.
Bill Heinz – Retail Property Manager
I come to work with a drive and a passion to see this project in its finished form. The majority of Burlington residents wanted this and by working here I believe I am contributing to the completion of this project and fulfilling what the residents wanted.
Cordial Di Ruggerio – Customer Relations Manager
The CityPlace Burlington development will make life much more manageable and efficient for my family and I, and we will greatly benefit from the convenience of having a grocery store, pre-school, and primary care facility in the same city block. The synergy of this truly urban development will directly create more time for us to spend as a family.
John W. Sharkey – Vice-President Leasing
To be part of a project such as this is undoubtedly the most unique opportunity most of us here will ever see in our careers. To know that we participated, each in our own way, to bring much needed new housing, new office space, new retail and more parking to this beautiful city and help it grow in a sustainable, smart and citizen centric direction.
Sonya C. Enright – Executive Assistant to Don Sinex
As a single working mother, the fact that I would be able to work, and live in the same complex would be ideal. Having access to the supermarket and other shops, and not having to factor in additional travel time into my day, it would increase the available time that I can spend with my family. Another important fact is that there would be additional savings on my commuting expenses, that to me is a tremendous bonus.
Cherylyn Ramos – Front Desk
I have been coming to downtown Burlington since I was a child. I remember how exciting it was to ride the bus with my Nanna to visit Woolworth, McDonald’s and the mall. I can’t wait to see this project through its completion and see how many wonderful things come our way so my Mom can take my kids downtown and have the same experiences I had my my Nanna.
